MS students and staff clear yard debris from 12 local yards as part of Make a Difference Day

Students posing with their rakes on Make a Difference Day

21 Middle School students and eight staff members volunteered their time, effort, and energy to assist senior citizens throughout the Scotia-Glenville Central School District with a yard clean-up project in the morning and early afternoon today.

In all, the clean-up crews worked in 12 yards.

Participants brought with them a strong sense of commitment to the community, leaf rakes, and lawn leaf bags donated by the Glenville Lowe’s.

Here are the participants in Make a Difference Day 2017.
