Elementary prinCIPal: 11-month position

 

Deadline: FRiday, May 23

 

Tentative schedule calls for stakeholder team interviews in mid-June, BOE appointment by late June and a start date of July 1 or thereafter.

 

The Principal is responsible for day-to-day school administration and the safety and welfare of both students and staff. The Principal ensures a safe, pleasant, and effective educational atmosphere, provides discipline as necessary, and enforces school policy. The Principal provides leadership in all areas of instruction. The Principal supervises all employees in the school and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of instructional and support staff in the school.

This individual would replace Ann Comley, who is retiring as the Sacandaga Elementary School principal on June 30.
