Grade Level Expectations and Curriculum Maps
This fall, the district distributed brochures to elementary parents
that detail what topics they can expect their children to learn this
year.
There are separate brochures for the main subject areas – English
Language Arts, mathematics, social studies and science – and for
special subject areas – art, library media science, music, physical
education and technology.
At the bottom are the combined grades K-2 and 3-5 in one brochure.
In the third column are curriculum maps - a year-long outline of
what your child will learn in a particular subject or course.
