4. Election of Vice President of Board of Education for the 2007-2008 School Year
5. Agreement Between the Board of Education - Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Dodge Chamberlin Luzine Weber Associates Architects LLP
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education designate Dodge Chamberlin Luzine Weber Associates Architects LLP as the architect for the Glendaal Project consistent with the terms and conditions of the AIA Agreement, as submitted.

8. Adopt the Policy Statement for 2007-2008 Free and Reduced Price Meals or Free Milk
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the Free and Reduced Price Meals or Free Milk Policy Statement and authorize the School Board President to sign the Certificate of Acceptance.
9. Approve Classroom Rental & Ancillary Services Agreement with BOCES
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve a classroom rental and ancillary services agreement with the Capital Region BOCES for 2007-2008 (for lease of six classrooms and the Distance Learning classroom), as submitted, and authorize the President of the Board to execute same.
10. Adopt the Textbook United States History
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the following book for use in the Grade 8 Social Studies course.

Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education authorize the district to contract with BOCES for services for the 2007-2008 school year.

a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Susan Champlin, Special Education Teacher (Middle School), effective July 10, 2007, with appreciation for her service to the district. See separate copy.
19. Routine Business
a. Staffing
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Amy E. Casella as Elementary Teacher (Grade 6, Middle School), effective September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010, with 2007-2008 annual salary to be at $38,909 (Step 2 +M +594). Ms. Casella has initial certification. This appointment is conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in accordance with the provisions of Education Law 3035.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Aimee E. Cusack as Guidance Counselor (Middle School), effective September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010, with 2007-2008 annual salary to be at $37,600 (Step 1 +M) and further approve her supplemental appointment as Guidance Counselor, with 2007-2008 stipend at $2,650. Ms. Cusack has provisional certification.
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following additional employees at the rate of 1/200 of their 2006-2007 annual salary for each full day of service this summer:
