4. Approval of 2006-2007 Fee Schedule for Community Use of School Facilities
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the 2006-2007 fee schedule for community use of school facilities and regulations governing use of such facilities, as submitted.
5. Adopt the Policy Statement for 2006-2007 Free and Reduced Price Meals or Free Milk
SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the Free and Reduced Price Meals or Free Milk Policy Statement and authorize the School Board President to sign the Certificate of Acceptance.

a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Lisa Bourassa, Foreign Language Teacher (French) (Senior High/Middle School), effective c.o.b. August 31, 2006, in order for her to accept the part-time appointment as Foreign Language Teacher (French) (Middle School).
b. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Lacey Maggs, Teacher Aide (Middle School), effective c.o.b. August 31, 2006, in order for her to accept the probationary appointment as Special Education Teacher (Middle School).
c. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Pamela Stafford, Teacher Aide (Middle School), effective c.o.b. August 31, 2006, in order for her to accept the probationary appointment of Teaching Assistant (Middle School).

15. Report of Superintendent
a. Staffing
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Lacey R. Maggs as Teacher of Children with Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area) (Middle School), effective September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2009, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $36,000 (Step 1). Ms. Maggs has initial certification.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Debra Collins as School Media Specialist (Library) (Middle School), effective September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2009, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $40,644 (Step 3 +M +21). Ms. Collins has initial certification pending. This appointment is conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in accordance with the provisions of Education Law 3035.
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the part-time appointment of Lisa Bourassa as Foreign Language Teacher (French) (Middle School), effective September 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $21,688 (Step 6 +28, 50%). Ms. Bourassa has provisional certification.
4) SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Pamela Stafford as Teaching Assistant (Middle School), effective September 1, 2006 through August 31, 2009, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $18,427.50 (Step 3, 7 hours/day). Mrs. Stafford has Teaching Assistant certification.

9) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the provisional appointment of Maria Sciarrino as Executive Secretary I (Senior High School Guidance) in accordance with Civil Service Regulations, effective July 12, 2006, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $24,960. This appointment is conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in accordance with the provisions of Education Law 3035.
10) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education terminate the temporary appointment of Christopher Neary, Cleaner (Senior High School) and grant him a probationary appointment to the same position, in accordance with Civil Service Regulations, effective July 10, 2006, with no change in current rate of pay.
11) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the temporary appointment of David Pinder as Cleaner (Senior High School), in accordance with Civil Service Regulations, effective July 24, 2006 through June 30, 2007, with 2006-2007 salary to be at the annual rate of $20,862.40 (Step 1). This appointment is conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in accordance with the provisions of Education Law 3035.
