8. Advanced Therapy: Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Services
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the contract for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy services with Advanced Therapy for the 2005-2006 summer school session, as submitted.
9. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 12, 2006, regarding acceptance of a donation from the PTA of Glen-Worden, Glendaal, Sacandaga, and Lincoln Elementary Schools to be used for Arts in Education Programs, as submitted.

11. Communications
a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Robert J. Cosmer, Dean of Students (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2006, in order for him to accept the position of Assistant Principal (Senior High School).
b. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of David Versocki, Mathematics Teacher (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2006, in order for his to accept the position of Director of Technology (Districtwide).
c. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of M. Santina Florio, Library Media Specialist (Middle School), effective August 2, 2006, with appreciation for her service to the district.
d. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Maura DiPace, Teaching Assistant (Middle School), effective c.o.b. June 23, 2006, with appreciation for her service to the district.
e. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Georgia Seroukas, Teacher Aide (Glendaal Elementary School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2006, with appreciation for her service to the district.
f. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Vern Layaou, Cleaner (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. June 14, 2006, with appreciation for his service to the district.
12. Report of Superintendent
a. Staffing
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Robert Cosmer as Assistant Principal (Senior High
School), effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009, with 2006-2007 annual salary to be set when salaries are set for Administrators. Mr. Cosmer has permanent certification as a school administrator/supervisor.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of David Versocki as Director of Technology (Districtwide), effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2009, with 2006-2007 annual salary to be set when salaries are set for Administrators. Mr. Versocki's school administrator certification is in progress.
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Jessica Brennan as School Social Worker (Senior High School/Middle School), effective September 1, 2006 through January 31, 2009, with 2006-2007 annual salary to be set at Step 4 +M +32, when teachers' salaries for 2006-2007 are set. Ms. Brennan has permanent certification.
4) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Suzanne Denney as Remedial Speech Teacher (Middle School/Senior High School), effective September 1, 2006 through January 31, 2009, with 2006-2007 annual salary to be at Step 3 +M +14 when teachers' salaries for 2006-2007 are set. Ms. Denney has provisional certification.
5) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the regular substitute appointment of Winifred Valachovic as Elementary Teacher (Glen-Worden Elementary School), effective September 1, 2006 through December 22, 2006, with 2006-2007 annual salary to be at Step 2 when teachers' salaries for 2006-2007 are set. Ms. Valachovic has initial certification.
6) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following 2006-2007 salary lists rates, as submitted:

7) SuperintendentÕs Recommendation: That the following be appointed as secondary summer school teachers with salary to be at the rate of $1,370 for first year teachers, $1,440 for second year teachers, and $1,510 for third year teachers, $1,580 for fourth year teachers, and $1,650 for five consecutive years or more, provided that student registration is sufficient for the proposed courses:
