5. Revised
Glendaal Memorial Scholarship
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
revised Glendaal Memorial Scholarship, dated June 2004, as submitted.
6. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
resolution, dated June 17, 2004, regarding acceptance of a donation from the
PTA's of Glen-Worden, Glendaal, and Sacandaga Elementary Schools, and the
Middle School, as submitted.
7. Resolution: Superintendent's Contract
Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the
Resolution, dated June 21, 2004, regarding the Superintendent's contract, as
submitted.

a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation
of Tammy DeAmour, Teacher Aide (Glen-Worden), effective June 30, 2004, with appreciation
for her service to the district.
b. Superintendent's
Recommendation: That the Board
of Education accept the letter of resignation of Christine Daddario, Executive
Secretary 1 (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. July 30, 2004, with appreciation
for her service to the district.
c. Superintendent's
Recommendation: That the Board
of Education accept the letter of resignation of Margaret Robinson, School Bus
Driver, effective c.o.b. June 30, 2004, with appreciation for her service to
the district.
d. Superintendent's
Recommendation: That the Board
of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of
Phyllis G. Kulmatiski, Art Teacher (Senior High School), effective c.o.b.
January 28, 2005, with appreciation for her service to the district.

of Education accept the letter of resignation of Jennifer Karins, part-time
Foreign Language Teacher (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2004,

a. Tenure Recommendation
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Andrew Swayne, provisionally
certified as a Physical Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Physical
Education Teacher, effective January 2, 2005.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Gina M. Parker, permanently
certified as a Special Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Teacher of
Children with Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area),
effective January 7, 2005.

following additional 2004-2005 salary lists, as submitted:

2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
change in the part-time appointment of Cindy Skala, School Social Worker
(Glendaal Elementary School) from 70% basis to 90%
basis, 2004-2005 salary to be at the rate of $47,585.70 (Step 14 +M +36).
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve a stipend in the amount
of $4,440 for Richard Wiesen (Media Services, Senior High School) for
SASI/Census computer support for the 2004-2005 school year.
4) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
contract, as submitted, with Cindy Taylor as School Nurse (50% basis,
Schenectady Christian School), effective September 1, 2004 through June 30,
2005, with 2004-2005 salary at the annual rate of $9,050.
5) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board
of Education approve the appointment of Melinda Zarnoch as Licensed Practical
Nurse (Senior High), effective September 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, with
2004-2005 salary to be at the hourly rate of $10.77.
6) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
appointment of Robert Beedleson as District Printer, effective July 1, 2004, at
the hourly rate of $13.46.
7) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
appointment of Timothy Pink as district Printer, effective July 1, 2004, at the
hourly rate of $11.88.
8) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
substitute rate for 2004-2005 as follows:

probationary appointment of Brooke L. Keith as Teacher of Children with
Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area) (Glendaal
Elementary School), effective September 1, 2004 through August 31, 2006, with
2004-2005 salary to be at $39,804 (Step 6 +M ). Mrs. Keith has permanent
certification. This appointment is
conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from
the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in
accordance with the provision of
Education Law ¤3035.
16) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
probationary appointment of Cheryl Urban-Wessinger as Remedial Speech Teacher
(Senior High School/Middle School), effective September 1, 2004 through August
31, 2007, with 2004-2005 salary to be at $46,639 (Step 11 +M +4). Ms. Urban-Wessinger has permanent
certification. This appointment is
conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of clearance for the employee from
the State Education Department following a criminal history records check in
accordance with the provision of Education Law ¤3035.
