a. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the
letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Donald Donato, School Bus
Driver, effective c.o.b. April 30, 2004, with appreciation for his service to
the district.
b. Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the
letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Constance Large, Teaching
Assistant (Middle School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2004, with appreciation
for her service to the district.

Recommendation: That Alison C.
Cardinell, provisionally certified as a Mathematics Teacher, be granted tenure
as a Mathematics Teacher, effective September 1, 2004.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Cheyenne L. Dallesandro, provisionally certified as
a Special Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Teacher of Children with
Handicapping Conditions (General Special Education Tenure Area), effective
September 1, 2004.

Recommendation: That Lucia A. Dixon,
provisionally certified as a School Counselor, be granted tenure as a Guidance
Counselor, effective September 1, 2004.

Recommendation: That Corinna H. DuCharme, provisionally certified as a

7-12 Teacher, be granted tenure as a Science Teacher, effective September 1,

That Frances E. Muscatiello, permanently certified as a Speech and Hearing
Handicapped Teacher, be granted tenure as a Remedial Speech Teacher, effective
September 1, 2004.
10) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Mariann Radom, permanently
certified as an Elementary Teacher, be granted tenure as an Elementary Teacher,
effective September 1, 2004.

Recommendation: That
Lorri A. Sammons, provisional certified as a Spanish 7-12 Teacher, be granted
tenure as a Foreign Language Teacher, effective September 1, 2004.

certified as a School Counselor, be granted tenure as a Guidance Counselor,
effective September 1, 2004.
13) Superintendent's Recommendation: That Kerry A. Cermak, provisionally
certified as a Physical Education Teacher, be granted tenure as a Physical
Education Teacher, effective September 25, 2004.

Staffing
1) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
part-time appointment of Andrew S. Baitinger as Industrial Arts Teacher (Middle
School), effective April 6, 2004 through June 30, 2004, with 2003-2004 annual
salary to be at the rate of $23,898.00 (Step 5 +M +18, 60% basis). Mr. Baitinger has provisional
certification pending.
2) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
part-time appointment of Ann Sail as Teaching Assistant (Middle School),
effective April 20, 2004 through June 30, 2004, with 2003-2004 salary to be at
the rate of $12.50/hour (Step3, 6.5 hours/day).
3) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the part-time
appointment of Jennifer Celorio as Teacher Aide (Sacandaga Elementary School),
effective April 6, 2004 through June 30, 2004, with 2003-2004 salary to be at
the rate of $7.75/hour (33 hours/week).
This appointment is conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of
clearance for the employee from the State Education Department following a
criminal history records check in accordance with the provision of Education
Law ¤3035.
4) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the
part-time appointment of Eileen Conroy as Teacher Aide (Sacandaga Elementary
School), effective April 6, 2004 through June 30, 2004, with 2003-2004 salary
to be at the rate of $7.68/hour (33 hours/week).
5) Superintendent's Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the addition of the
following lists of additional substitutes for 2003-2004, effective April 6,
2004. These appointments are conditioned on the school districtÕs receipt of
clearance for the employees from the State Education Department following a
criminal history records check in accordance with the provision of Education
Law ¤3035.
