Approval of Minutes as Posted

Conroy made a motion to accept the minutes as posted. Anne Cardany seconded the motion. The minutes were accepted as posted.
á Michele
presented two awards for membership to Cathy Conroy.
á The report was submitted and reviewed by all in attendance. All is in order.
á No Report.
á Anne brought a request of $140 in additional funding for the event in order to pay the custodial fees for opening the building on Sunday so that the decorating can be done. Since the event is on Monday, and due to other scheduling, this is the only time that decorating can be done. There is still money in the existing budget, but all of the receipts have not been submitted yet. This would be a contingency budget and may not all be used.
á Anne made a motion for the luncheon committee to receive $140 if needed, for custodial fees only and for this year only.
á Karen Normington seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the decision was unanimous in favor of providing the additional funds for this exclusive purpose and for this year only.

á Banking (Anne Cardany) No report. School banking is done for this year.
á Homeroom Parents (Cathie Sweeney) No Report.
á Membership (Cathy Conroy) Two awards were received for our membership numbers for this year.
á Ways and Means (Karen Normington) No Report.
á Box Tops (Suzanne Tonsberg) There is currently $100 going towards next yearŐs collection. Over $1000 has been collected in Box Tops this year. Mrs. MontoneŐs class won the ice cream party for collecting the most Box Tops. The children all had a wonderful time. All Box Tops collected now will be for next yearŐs submissions.
á Soup Labels (Lynn Cullen) 6000 labels have been sent in so far. Lynn still needs help clipping. Next year she plans on sending in the labels earlier and there will be a merchandise order placed right away since nothing has been ordered in the last 3 years.
á Cub Scouts (Mike King) No Report
Communications None
á Cathy Conroy suggested that we get the new school sign installed over the summer. She also requested that we earmark $3000 in the budget now to cover the expenses of the sign.
á The sign is going to be single sided, internally lit, 4x6 and located by the flagpole. The base will be trex, treated wood or brown metal.
á Cathy made a motion to earmark $3000 in the budget to cover the sign expenses.
á Suzanne seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the decision was unanimous to set the money aside in the budget.
