á
Clara
Bisaillon emailed PTA board members regarding the dilemma over the Holiday
Bazaar. Insurance doesnŐt cover
lost or stolen items, so the PTA would be responsible for paying for any items
that were stolen or lost. After emails and discussions Clara recommended
raising the cost of the items being sold at the bazaar by about 25 cents to
cover the risk. Items being sold will be locked up nightly. Michele Calderon
motioned to increase the cost of the items by approximately 25 cents to go
ahead with the event. Anne Cardany seconded the motion. Clara Bisaillon
submitted the emails that were sent regarding this issue to Pam Petralia, PTA
Secretary.

á
Jason Marra
questioned how the PTA usually communicates- through emails or discussions at
the PTA meetings. Karen Normington addressed the question stating that the PTA
board usually communicates through meetings. If something comes up between
meetings emails are sent out between PTA board members. Karen Normington gave
Jason Marra a list of email addresses for the PTA board members.
á
Susan Meeker

á
Clara
Bisaillon shared that there is a shortage of child-sized t-shirts and
sweatshirts. We need to consider purchasing new shirts/sweatshirts and decide
if we want to change the logo. Clara Bisaillon will look into costs and
possible companies for new shirts/sweatshirts. The information will be reviewed
at the November meeting.
Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:10
