November 17, 2009 Beginning immediately, the gates to the Scotia-Glenville High School track and field will be locked every day while grass seed and fertilizer help regenerate the field. Beginning after the second weekend of December, the field area will be unlocked during the days until dusk but then locked after that time. All property – fields, tennis courts, etc. – in the school district is posted as being off limits after dusk every evening. That prohibition will be enforced from now on, in large part because of repeated vandalism on the property. A new track and field will be installed during the summer of 2010. |
