Ten Scotia-Glenville students competed on March 1 at the GE Research and Development Center in Niskayuna in the Middle Level Science Bowl.

Randy Jenkins, academic head for science, and teachers David Swain and Amy Casella accompanied the students at the science bowl. Students had to build and race a hydrogen fuel cell car and compete in a "buzzer" style competion by answering science and math questions.

Out of 11 teams from schools from the Capital Region, both Scotia-Glenville teams were in the final four playoff. In the end, the S-G teams placed 2nd and 4th overall.
