The PTA Council held the 68th annual Founders Day dinner at the Glen Sanders Mansion on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The following school community supporters were honored by each school's PTA and received a lifetime PTA membership award:

• Glendaal Elementary School PTA: Tracy Briscoe, parent; John George, teacher; and Jim Marx, parent;

• Glen-Worden Elementary School PTA : Karen Francisco, parent, and Nancy Livingston, secretary (she received an Lifetime Achievement Award);

• Lincoln Elementary School PTA: Kathy Burns, parent; Ann Comley, principal; and Teresa Norton, parent;

• Sacandaga Elementary School PTA: Kim Lavery, teacher; Gary and Karen Normington, parents; and Cathie Sweeney, parent;

• Middle School PTA: Susan McCann, teacher; and Sandy and Tom Merten, parents

• High School PTSA : Steve Skibinski, parent, and David Wentworth, parent
