The Glendaal Library Media Center provides students, staff, and parents with more than 6,000 books, magazines, and professional materials, providing curricular support, professional growth, and encourages the investigation of personal interests. During weekly 30 minute classes, the library media specialis teaches information literacy skills in the context of the classroom curriculum. Students and teachers also use the LMC to participate in collaborative research and technology based projects outside of their regular library class. These skills help students to develop information seeking skills that will promote life-long learning. |
