grade 3 students share their knowledge and research at state fair

JUne 6, 2016

Are there really more cows in Vermont than people? Delaware was the first state?

From Arkansas and Alabama to Wisconsin and Wyoming, grade 3 students knew the most unusual information about their designated state. The students, whose teachers are Anna Morlock and Kathy Powers, studied their states and did the research. While many had not visited their state, most said they'd like to go there in the future.

Today, they showed off their research.

The special education co-teacher for both grade 3 classes is Dana Brockmann.

Here is a link to a 50 state slideshow created by the students: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/141Nb4RpoQi8f3LFA20nMfuFZ-XL4-IkPM0N3t0Ppmb4/pub?start=true&loop=true&delayms=5000&slide=id.p
