Gary Normington, of 12 Sanders Avenue, is seeking a fourth term on the board.

He is a sales representative for Community Computers of Auburn, a medical software company.

He served as the vice president of the Board of Education from 2008 to 2010.

Normington holds an associate’s degree in computer programming and marketing from Spencer Business Institute.

He and his wife, Karen, have three sons: Morgan, in grade 10; Nicholas, in grade 6; and Colin, in grade 4.

He is a member of the Sacandaga, Middle School and High School PTAs, is active in the Concern for the Hungry Thanksgiving Food Drive and is a member of Capital City Church.
